MB Associates are pleased to announce that Simon Gains joins the team as Associate and Lead Adviser – Soft Landings. Simon has served a successful term as Chair for CIBSE, Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers in Auckland, he is also an active member of The Sustainability Society which is a technical interest group of IPENZ.
With over 20 years in the building services engineering industry, Simon has led both technical and operational teams and has played pivotal roles in major flagship projects in both the UK and NZ. After graduating in England in 2007 he achieved 1st class honors in Building Services Engineering and went on to successfully complete an MBA in 2010 awarded at distinction. He enjoys solving technical problems and providing sound technical advice to a wide range of principals. Simon has contributed to an extensive range of engineering projects with specific focus around building services engineering and sustainability, ranging from healthcare, educ ation, public and commercial buildings.
Paul has extensive experience of the CIBSE Soft Landings methodology and has implemented good practice in design, commissioning and facilities management of many large scale construction projects both internationally and domestically.
